Griffith Base Hospital Redevelopment

Griffith Base Hospital Redevelopment — Final Construction Clean

Project: Griffith Base Hospital Redevelopment
Location: Riverina Region, NSW (Rural)
Client: ADCO Constructions
Scope: Full Builder’s Clean & Final Presentation Works

Project Overview

As part of ADCO’s delivery of the NSW Government’s $250 million Griffith Base Hospital Redevelopment, our team was engaged to complete the comprehensive builder’s clean and final presentation works for the new Clinical Services Building.

The facility includes emergency, maternity, and paediatric departments, operating theatres, medical imaging, and inpatient units — all designed to meet the contemporary healthcare needs of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD).

Scope of Works

  • Full internal builder’s clean across all clinical and non-clinical areas

  • High-level cleaning and detailed surface preparation

  • External glass and façade cleaning

  • Final presentation clean prior to client handover

  • Coordination with multiple trades to maintain hygiene and presentation standards

Challenges & Solutions

Working within a live construction environment with multiple specialist trades required strict sequencing and coordination. Our team implemented a staged cleaning program aligned with ADCO’s delivery schedule to ensure each zone was presented to a hospital-grade finish, supporting both inspection and certification milestones.

Outcome

The final clean was completed on time, supporting ADCO’s successful handover to Health Infrastructure and MLHD. The new facility achieved a high presentation standard consistent with the project’s 4 Star Green Star design and stringent healthcare requirements.
